About the course

At Level 2, we deepen our knowledge of the global wine scene. We will not only talk about wines from around the world, but also every lesson, taste them. This is both to learn more about each specific wine region and to be able to cross-reference how, for example, the same grape can have different characteristics depending on where it has been cultivated. Each lesson is devoted to a specific wine region, area and country such, for example, France, Germany, Italy etc., where we will conduct an in-depth sensory analysis of the selected wines. We will also delve into other wine countries and regions such as, for example, China, Balkan, Canada, Scandinavia, Oceania etc. From our wine glasses, we will visit the birthplace of wine in Georgia and Eastern Mediterranean. We will delve into history as we taste wines from Cyprus and Greece. By the end of this course, you will have travelled around the world of wine and gained in-depth knowledge of the different characteristics of international grapes depending on where they are grown, as well as first-hand experience of several of the unique grapes of different countries.
